June 2019: "Our fleet is growing, as well as the number of external repair customers, so extra square meters were welcome," said Edwin Breeman (Manager Workshop Netherlands). In early June 2019, the Automotive workshop moved to a new building.

This new building is located at Nieuwland Parc (P2) in Alblasserdam (NL) opposite Schenk Cryolution (P3). The move went smoothly thanks to a tight schedule. After working in the new workshop for a few months, the experiences are positive. The working climate in the workshop is good and the work floor is nice and light. The workshop reception and workshop manager are happy with a more spacious workplace. And for the drivers a nice waiting area has been created. In addition, the warehouse is a huge relief; it is four to five times the size of the old one. The technicians have arranged the warehouse according to their own insight, resulting in a clear whole where the technicians can find everything logical.

Improved cooperation P2 and P3
The improved cooperation with Schenk Cryolution also ensures satisfaction. A cut has been made in the fence from the old P2 to P4, together it is now called P2; now it is one beautiful location that facilitates the exchange of technicians. From January 2020, Schenk will also be doing something new at the new location: RDW inspections of our ADR vehicles. There was no room for this in the old workshop.

Additional technicians welcome
Two or three additional technicians can be accommodated in these spacious and modern conditions. “: Schenk is an attractive employer," says Edwin. "We have a lot of interesting things to offer in the field of tank technology! For example activities in the field of hydraulics, construction, RDW inspections, etc.
