In addition to servicing our own vehicles, we also maintain the fleets of an increasing number of external customers. Our team of skilled mechanics ensures that both our drivers and those of our clients can perform their work safely and efficiently. To strengthen our workshop team, we are looking for enthusiastic and service-oriented mechanics.

About the role
As a Truck Mechanic / HGV Technician, you will be responsible for independently diagnosing and resolving technical issues on our vehicles and equipment. You will perform inspections, carry out repairs, and help keep our fleet operating at its best. You’ll work in a modern, well-equipped workshop where safety and quality come first.

Key responsibilities

  • Diagnose technical faults and malfunctions;
  • Perform regular inspections and maintenance;
  • Carry out ad-hoc repairs, both in the workshop and on-site using our fully equipped service van;
  • Repair and refurbish trucks, trailers, and tank containers;
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the fleet stays in top condition;
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of work processes and procedures.

What we offer

  • A gross monthly salary between €2,500 and €4,200 based on a 40-hour work week (depending on experience and qualifications);
  • 8% holiday allowance and 27.5 days off per year (including 20 statutory days, 4 extra-statutory days, and 3.5 additional days);

Vacature info

What you bring

  • Proven experience as a mechanic;
  • Strong knowledge of electronics, pneumatics, and preferably hydraulic systems;
  • A welding certificate (TIG and MIG/MAG) or willingness to obtain one (preferred but not required);
  • Familiarity with handling hazardous materials is a plus;
  • Key qualities such as a strong focus on quality, decisiveness, flexibility, teamwork, customer orientation, and resilience under pressure.
